Five designers were invited to conduct research on objects for the table, related to wine and its rituals. The outcome led to the creation of five prototypes, each capable of reinterpreting the five senses and their relationship to conviviality. The exhibition was divided into two scenes: the first in the outdoor courtyard consisted of a mirror table on which the designers’ projects were described and the five precious wines that accompanied and inspired them in their research were presented. The second scene was set up in the audience halls designed by Francesco Maria Richini, inside which the five designers’ projects were materially revealed, enveloped in an immersive atmosphere where copper-colored reflective curtains, neon lines, and decorated ceilings re-proposed a suspended dimension in a surrealist key.
