Atelier Torelli is a multifunctional exhibition space that includes the painter Lorenzo Pietrogrande’s atelier and his father, a sculptor of sacred art, Benedetto Pietrogrande’s studio (now archive). The project is conceived as a habitat characterized by pivoting wings and mobile systems to be reconfigured according to spatial dynamics needs. The heart of Spazio Torelli consists of a hydraulic platform used to move art pieces and people, that can be transformed into an exhibition room or stage for performances.
