Interno Metafisico is a small apartment located on the top floor of a building in NoLo district. The project comes from the desire to give the apartment an enigmatic and suspended atmosphere, drawing inspiration from the settings of metaphysical painting to create a silent and welcoming stage. The project works on the abstraction of architectural elements and surface values: linoleum, concrete columns, deep and colorful arches, and portions of Palladian preserved from the renovation.
The insertion of a translucent laminate inside the original door frames gives an ethereal and domestic atmosphere to the two rooms, reinterpreted in materials and colors as two variations of the same compositional scheme.
