The installation Maison & Objet fair in Paris was born out of a desire to create an installation that was easy to assemble, simple to ship, and sustainable to dispose of. Triple-wave cardboard, small modular wooden supports, and colored fabric backdrops are the primary elements of a set-up that is mailed in small sizes and disposed of directly on-site. The linear device articulates objects and furniture products on cardboard volumes of different heights by exploiting the passage of visitors and creating a direct, non-hierarchical relationship between set-up and circulation space.
